With six James Beard Award-Winning Chefs at Disney Springs, you never know when you might spot one of your favorite culinary superstars. I recently visited one of my new go-to restaurants, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, and got word that Wolfgang himself will be making an appearance at the restaurant later this month. Sarah Leacock, GM of the venue shared “Wolfgang loves to meet and mingle with guests. When he’s in town, it’s not uncommon for him to visit with diners, offer menu suggestions, and snap photos! He is also debuting a new sparkling wine, so on August 20, we’ll be celebrating that launch. We’ve also got cookbooks available for purchase, which he’d be happy to sign.”
While past events featuring Wolfgang Puck have included a ticketed dinner, the August 20 visit will take place during normal lunch and dinner dining service. Limited reservations are still available via disneyworld.com or the Open Table app, so if you’re a fan and hope to catch Wolfgang during his upcoming visit, I’d suggest you book a table as soon as possible.
Need tips on what to order? Everything I’ve tried has been incredible, but the Bruschetta is a MUST (seriously, it’s the best I’ve ever had), the pizzas are to-die for, and the salads are so, so fresh – one of my colleagues swears by the Grilled Shrimp Greek Salad – she’s ordered it the last five times she visited! If seafood, steak or fresh pasta is more your style, don’t worry, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill has those options, too.
